Before pickup day, it’s important to create a safe and comfortable environment for your kitten.
- Choose a quiet room where your kitten can settle in
- Remove hazards such as loose wires, toxic plants, and small objects
- Ensure windows and balconies are secured
- Prepare a cozy sleeping area with soft bedding
Starting your kitten in one room helps them adjust gradually to their new surroundings.
Feeding & Litter Habits
Your kitten will already be familiar with certain routines.
Continue feeding the same food your kitten has been eating
If changing food, transition gradually over 7–10 days
Scoop the litter box daily to keep it clean and inviting
Place the litter box in a quiet, easily accessible location
The First Days at Home
The first few days are all about adjustment. Some kittens settle in quickly, while others may need more time.
Allow your kitten to explore at their own pace
Expect hiding at first—this is completely normal

We recommend scheduling a veterinary appointment within the first week after bringing your kitten home. During this visit:
